Experience from work in multidisciplinary environments.

The System Engineer for Cytiva plays a crucial role in defining, developing, and implementing hardware and software solutions for our large-scale bioprocess systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration and functionality of our cutting-edge bioprocess equipment.

Who you are:
Master’s degree in biotechnology, Chemical Engineering or a related field
5 years of experience with Chromatography: Hands-on experience in protein purification, including familiarity with process design and scale-up for chromatography operations
Experience with ÄKTA chromatography systems and UNICORN software
Experience of system and/or software specification, verification and validation: The candidate should be capable of articulating test cases, ensuring that the software meets user needs and the set requirements. Develop and execute test plans to verify and validate Software functionality, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Basic understanding in software release process
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate plans and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Fluent in Swedish and English.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good understanding of GxP policies and procedures; basic knowledge of regulatory requirements of the pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology industry.

They are also focused on developing computational methods to support and enhance human decision-making in pharmacovigilance.

We are looking for a skilled and creative data scientist to support our work and contribute to the team’s development. What you will do


- Work in agile multidisciplinary teams composed of data scientists, research pharmacists, and medical doctors.

- Create, implement, and evaluate novel methods to advance the science of pharmacovigilance with statistical modelling and machine learning.

- Communicate results with internal and external stakeholders, adapting to the diversity of their backgrounds, as well as disseminate research via scientific publications and participation in research conferences.

- Participate in competence development by staying up to date with advances in machine learning and Natural Language Processing (NLP) research and apply it to our settings.
- Acquire a deep understanding of our unique database of side effects to support research pharmacists and medical doctors in their decision-making or research questions.

About you


- You have an MSc or PhD degree in computer science, engineering, or other quantitative discipline.

- At least three years of professional data science experience.

- Advanced coursework in machine learning and programming, and experience in cloud computing are a plus.

- Interest in Neural Networks and Large Language Models is a plus.

- Experience with data querying languages and working with databases.

- Proficient in programming with Python; knowledge of R is a plus.

- Experience in mentoring junior data scientists and overseeing data-centred projects.

- Strong interpersonal skills and are comfortable working with multiple stakeholders with diverse backgrounds and nationalities.

- Innovative, independent, driven, and can quickly devise fit-for-purpose deployment solutions.

We're looking for a Lead System Designer to join our Custom Engineering department at Cytiva in Uppsala. This position reports to the Sr Manager for Functional Design and will be an on-site role.
As Lead System Designer at Custom Engineering you will be working primarily on customized customer projects together with cross-functional project teams consisting of 8 to 10 people. Each project typically lasts between 6-12 months. In this role, you will take responsibility for the functionality and quality of the customized bioprocess product, including specifications, component and equipment selection as well as regulatory compliance. Your daily activities will be to work closely with the other design disciplines (Mechanical, Automation and Electrical Design Engineering) to ensure that all customer requirements are captured and implemented into the product. At the end of the project, the customer will perform an acceptance test of the equipment at our facility where you will represent the design team and support the customer with technical knowledge.
Cytivas customers are based across the globe, and a few business trips per year may be required as well as some early or late conference calls depending on projects and region.
What You'll Do:
Read customer specifications and translate these into specifications and designs.
Perform design reviews internally and externally together with the customer.
Coordinate design activities between functions (Mechanical, Electrical and Automation design).
Ensure regulatory compliance of your products.
Act as a support function for Service, Manufacturing and Verification.

Who you are:
This position requires an MSc or BSc in Engineering, Physics or Biotechnology, or equivalent.
You have several years of documented experience from working with product development or process development within a regulatory controlled industry or environment.
Experience in performing and/or leading technical investigations and reports (CAPA investigations, component evaluations, etc).
Fluency in English, both written and oral is a requirement. Fluency in Swedish is an advantage.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Knowledge of project management techniques and models.
Experience from technical roles within the Life Science industry.
Experience from working in PDM system.

To be successful in this role, you should have a deep-rooted technical interest, strong quality-focus, and enjoy working in smaller project teams. Excellent communication skills are essential, and you should be comfortable presenting technical solutions to customers.

C2 Vertical Safety är specialister inom arbete på höjd och klättring och vi säljer alla produkter som behövs inom området. Våra kunder består av företag och myndigheter som har verksamhet och medarbetare som arbetar på hög höjd samt sport- och yrkesbutiker. Via vår websida når vi också ut till privatpersoner inom både sport- och outdoorsegmentet.Huvudkontoret finns i Uppsala och rymmer även vårt utbildningscentrum som har 18 meter i takhöjd. C2 har även lokalkontor i södra Sverige. C2 har idag hunnit fylla 20 år och är en av branschens största aktörer. Vi är kända för vår höga kompetens, höga kvalitet och fokus på att lösa kundernas behov.

Om tjänsten
Som Customer Support hos oss blir du en viktig nyckelspelare på vårt kontor i Uppsala. Du kommer att arbeta tätt med våra säljavdelningar och ansvara för bl.a. inkommande samtal och mail. Du kommer att jobba med orderhantering, fakturering, sälj och internt stöd till våra utesäljare. Du ser till att kunderna får en förstklassig upplevelse när de är i kontakt med oss.
Exempel på arbetsuppgifter:
Svara i telefon under företagets telefontider
Order- och offerthantering
Hantera mail i företagets info-korg.
Kundkontakt i samband med utbildning och vid förfrågningar
Kundvård på plats i lokalerna (Fika/ lunch)
Reklamationer & returer
Stötta med PPE administration
Fakturering vid behov
Kundbesök och mässor vid behov

Om dig
Det viktigaste för oss är vem du är som person. Vi tror att du som söker är en serviceminded, öppen, orädd person som gillar att ta egna initiativ. Du är noggrann i ditt arbetssätt och har ett sug att lära dig nya saker. I arbetet ingår enklare administration och är du generellt systemkunnig kommer det inte att vara några problem. Vi ser även att du vill bidra till en trevlig stämning i teamet.
