We are currently seeking an ERP Specialist to join our Group Operations Team at Optinova.


Group Operations
The Group Operations unit (GOPS) is dedicated to delivering excellence in processes, systems, insights, value enhancements, and cost-efficient shared services across all Optinova units. Our focus spans five key functional areas: Quality & Compliance, Operations Systems, Logistics, Sustainability, and Project Management.
GOPS serves as the center of excellence for ERP development, product master data, process harmonization, user training, support, and release management. Our global operations rely extensively on the Monitor ERP system.
The role
As an ERP Specialist, you will provide global user support, lead the monthly release management process, and act as a backup for operations when needed. This position can be based in Uppsala (Sweden) or Mariehamn (Åland).
Key Responsibilities
Provide 2nd line global support, analyzing and resolving ERP user support requests.
Escalate complex issues to 3rd level Monitor Functional Owners within GOPS and Group Finance.
Analyze changes in new ERP releases, coordinate regression testing, and prepare release notes for users.
Participate in development and process harmonization projects.
Administer new user creation, ERP access, and training.
Advise and train users on standard ERP system usage.
Provide short-term backup support for various operations, primarily in customer service, to balance workload.

Required Skills and Experience
Previous experience with Monitor ERP or similar systems.
Experience in order handling, delivery, production, or accounting.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.

Kvalifikationer

Financial Controller
As a Financial Controller, you will partner with the EMEA sales organization, the global finance team, and other members of the EMEA finance team. You will ensure that external reporting is performed according to set deadlines and with high quality. Key Responsibilities:
Plan and manage day-to-day finance operations for assigned legal entities in Europe.
Ensure timely and high-quality completion of monthly, half-year, and year-end closing.

Ensure alignment to the chart of accounts with global directions, local regulations, and management reporting requirements.

Required experience and education:

We are now offering an exciting internship opportunity for a dedicated and analytical student to join Optinovas Group Operations team as a Sustainability Data Intern. Sustainability is one of the key pillars in Optinova’s strategy and Shared Service function within GOPS. Our goal is to continuously reduce carbon footprint and waste in our operations and entire value chain, and to always act according to high ethical standards.
In this role, you will be at the forefront in implementing our sustainability strategy, focusing CO? reporting in the value chain.
The assignment:
As a Sustainability Data Intern, you will focus on the integration of environmental impact data into our ERP system. Your main responsibilities are:
Collect, assess and qualify the product carbon footprint (PCF) data consumption and emission factors in our own operations and supply chain.
Mapping carbon footprint data fields in the ERP system.
Establish a methodology for PCF calculation across our operations, applying the relevant carbon accounting principles.
Establish robust CO? scope 1,2 and 3 data collection and reporting in our BI platform.
Document thoroughly the CO? calculation methodology applied and data sources used.
Assist in training relevant teams on utilizing ERP tools for sustainability data analysis and provide ongoing support for system related inquiries.

To succeed in this internship, you need the following:
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate or training program in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and data accuracy.
Passion for sustainability and a desire to leverage ERP systems for environmental impact assessment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Knowledge of greenhouse gas accounting principles, industry-standard carbon footprint methodologies, and life cycle assessment (LCA) concepts.

It is a plus if you have:
Experience in conducting carbon footprint assessments and familiarity with carbon accounting tools and databases (e.g., GHG Protocol, WRI/WBCSD, Ecoinvent, GaBi).
Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and reporting frameworks related to carbon footprinting and carbon reduction (e.g., ISO 14064, PAS 2050, CDP, GRI, SBTi).
Previous working experience with ERP, data or related field.
