Som Team Leader för automationsgruppen får du en nyckelroll i att leda, koordinera och utveckla sitens automationsarbete. Teamet består av 12 automationsingenjörer som tillsammans förvaltar, supporterar och utvecklar sitens OT-miljö och styrsystem, samt ytterligare 7 systemingenjörer som ingår i en angränsande gruppering inom samma sektion. I denna roll kommer du att arbeta både operativt och strategiskt för att säkra stab. Tjänsten är en tillsvidareanställning och är förlagd på site med placering i Uppsala.
Dina huvudsakliga arbetsuppgifter:
Leda, coacha och utveckla ett team av automationsingenjörer.
Tillsammans med gruppen säkerställa en stabil drift av styrsystemen på siten.
Planera, prioritera ocha löpande följa upp teamets arbete.
Driva förbättringsprojekt inom automation, processtyrning och digitalisering.
Ansvara för gruppens arbete kopplat till förvaltning och vidareutveckling av styrsystemen.
Säkerställa att dokumentation, standarder och arbetssätt efterföljs.

Vi söker dig som:
Trivs i en ledande roll och har förmåga att skapa struktur, engagemang och trygghet i teamet.
Är lösningsorienterad, kommunikativ och van att arbeta tvärfunktionellt.
Högskoleutbildning inom relevant inriktning, exempelvis maskin, kemiteknik eller elektronik.

The Executive Assistant is responsible for serving as the primary point of contact between the President, Discovery & Medical OpCo and key internal and external stakeholders, including executives, partners, clients, and investors. In this role, you will be accountable for results-oriented organizational proficiency and strategic administrative support, while handing the demands of a fast-paced environment.
This position reports to the President, Discovery & Medical OpCo and is part of Discovery and Medical within Cytiva. The role is located in Amersham UK, Cardiff UK, or Uppsala Sweden and will be an on-site role.
What you will do:
Provide comprehensive administrative support, including proactive calendar management, travel arrangements, expense reporting, and logistics for President and selected L1 leaders.
Efficiently manage the calendar by organizing meetings, appointments, and events. Proactively resolve scheduling conflicts and ensure optimal time allocation for strategic priorities.
Act as a gatekeeper and liaison, handling incoming and outgoing communications. Draft, proofread, and manage emails, letters, and other correspondence with professionalism and discretion.
Prepare materials for meetings, including agendas, presentations, and briefing notes. Attend key meetings to take minutes, track action items, and ensure timely follow-up and execution. Help support communication where needed, e.g. town hall coordination.
Plan and coordinate complex travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, visas, and ground transportation. Prepare detailed itineraries and manage changes or disruptions as needed.
Handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality. Support the President with research, data gathering, and execution of special projects, often involving cross-functional collaboration.
Collaborate with other executive assistants to ensure cross-functional coordination and continuity of administrative support during absences or periods of high activity.

Who you are:
Experienced administrative professional with a strong background in supporting senior executives.
Exceptional organizational skills with a pro-active approach and the ability to manage competing priorities, anticipate needs, and operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Comfortable handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism, especially in the context of confidential strategy discussions, talent & development conversations and M&A-related activity.
Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word), experience with collaboration tools such as Teams, and SharePoint.
Knowledge of 365 Copilot and prompt engineering know-how.

Vi söker just nu efter vår nästa Miljöspecialist till avdelningen för miljö, hälsa och säkerhet (EHS) på Cytivas produktionsanläggning i Uppsala. Som Miljöspecialist hos oss blir du del av det lokala EHS-teamet bestående av ett 20-tal experter inom en rad EHS-områden så som yttre miljö, arbetsmiljö, processäkerhet, kemikaliehantering och företagshälsovård.
I denna roll blir du del av ett tvärfunktionellt team med flera spännande kontaktytor på en Seveso-klassad produktionsanläggning där du ansvarar för att driva frågor kopplade till framförallt förorenad mark, dag- och grundvatten, kemikalier och avfall. Som processäkerhetsingenjör ansvarar du för att säkerställa att processerna följer säkerhetsbestämmelser och standarder, identifiera och bedöma potentiella säkerhetsrisker, utveckla och implementera säkerhetsåtgärder, samt övervaka och rapportera om säkerhetsfrågor. Rollen innebär även att samarbeta med olika team för att förbättra säkerheten och att utbilda personalen i säkra arbetsmetoder.
Dina arbetsuppgifter
Arbeta med riskhantering för processystem i syfte att förhindra olyckor som brand, explosion och okontrollerat utflöde från anläggningar som hanterar farliga ämnen.
Genomföra olika typer av riskanalyser för verksamheten (t.ex HAZID, HAZOP, SWIFT, grovriskanalys).
Driva förbättringar av företagets rutiner avseende processäkerhet och processäkerhetspåverkan.
Delta i projektarbete med att definiera konstruktionskrav och följa upp dessa.
Vara en del i EHS teamets compliance kontroll, via lagbevakning och aktiviteter för att kontrollera lagefterlevnad på företaget.
Delta i Cytivas arbete för ständiga förbättringar, via till exempel hantering av händelserapporter, både lokalt och i globala sammanhang.
Föra dialoger med externa aktörer, så som myndigheter och försäkringsbolag.
Utveckla instruktioner och hålla i utbildningar inom processäkerhetsområdet.

De huvudsakliga kraven för tjänsten är:
Teknisk högskoleutbildning inom ett för tjänsten relevant område, exempelvis ingenjör inom risk-, brand- eller kemiteknik.
Ett par års erfarenhet av från kemisk/teknisk processindustri eller liknande.
Kunnig om säkerhetspraxis, analysmetoder och regelverk inom området.
Erfarenhet av riskhantering- och olycksutredningsmetodik.
Du kommunicerar obehindrat på såväl svenska som på engelska, både i tal och i skrift.

Nu söker vi en Software Engineer med driv att lära dig mer inom Life Science. Som Software Engineer hos oss kommer du att förstärka ett av våra befintliga mjukvaruteam inom R&D Downstream Software på Cytivas site i Uppsala. Teamet utvecklar mjukvara för styrning och övervakning av våra kromatografisystem som används inom biomedicinsk forskning och läkemedelsproduktion.
I rollen som Software Engineer jobbar du tillsammans med dina teammedlemmar i en agil utvecklingsmiljö där du får bidra till såväl nyutveckling som underhåll av befintliga produkter. Du tillför teamet värdefull kompetens inom mjukvaruutveckling och har ett nära, tvärfunktionellt samarbete med kollegor från andra områden såsom systemingenjörer, UX-specialister, applikationsspecialister, hårdvaruutvecklare samt produktchefer.
Som Software Engineer kommer du att vara involverad i hela utvecklingsprocessen, från kravhantering, implementation och test till verifiering. Vi använder automatisk enhetstestning och strävar efter test-driven utveckling (TDD).

Rollen rapporterar till sitens fastighetschef och ingår i ett team tillsammans med 11 andra medarbetare som verkar för att sitens fastigheter kan nyttjas på ett ändamålsenligt sätt. Som byggnadsingenjör hos oss blir du en nyckelperson i att utveckla och underhålla våra fastigheter och produktionsanläggningar. Vi söker nu en Valideringsingenjör till avdelningen Manufacturing Engineering som är en del av vår storskaliga kemiska produktionsverksamhet i Uppsala. Valideringsgruppen, som är en sektion inom avdelningen Manufacturing Engineering, består idag av 16 valideringsingenjörer som arbetar mot vår produktion vid ombyggnationer, nya installationer, process- och styrsystemsändringar.
Produktionen i Uppsala omfattar ett flertal olika tillverkningsavdelningar och som valideringsingenjör hos oss får du möjlighet till varierade arbetsuppgifter och att växa i din yrkesroll.
Dina arbetsuppgifter:
Planera, utforma och genomföra valideringar.
Arbeta med utveckling och förbättringar.
Granska/bedöma kravspecifikationer, riskbedömningar och ändringsärenden.
Presentera valideringsdokumentation vid audit.

De huvudsakliga kraven för tjänsten är:
Teknisk/Naturvetenskaplig universitetsexamen, gärna civilingenjör eller motsvarande.
Erfarenhet från bioteknik-, läkemedels- eller processindustri.
Mycket goda kunskaper i svenska och engelska, såväl muntligt som skriftligt.
Erfarenhet av projektledning

Det är även meriterande om du har tidigare erfarenhet av:
Goda kunskaper om valideringsarbete.

Vad du ska göra

Who you are
You hold an MSc in Engineering or possess equivalent qualifications.
You bring at least 5 years of leadership experience within manufacturing environments.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in process leadership and process governance roles.
You have led, or been a core team member of, at least two cross-functional projects over at least 2 years.
You have at least 2 years’ experience with capital expenditure (capex) investments in an operational setting, ideally within the chemical process or Life Science industries.
You demonstrate strong business acumen with a solid understanding of financial principles and reporting.
You have experience working with, and preferably leading, key LEAN or DBS (Danaher Business System) tools and methodologies.
Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills.

What you will do:

The essential requirements of the job include:
MSc in biotechnology, bioprocess/biomedical engineering or related life sciences field. PhD within protein production or related field is an advantage.
Solid experience from an industry environment with clear customer focus, and diligence in deliveries.
The role requires excellent oral communication skills, with the ability to confidently present complex technical concepts.
Demonstrated ability to define and communicate clear project objectives and priorities, in dynamic or uncertain environments.
Self-propelled, goal oriented and a willingness to learn new things.
English as working language.

The Senior Scientist is responsible for performing and coordinating activities within different projects in R&D. The projects will be within product innovation and development, product care and market support aiming at the research customer needs as well as understanding bioprocess customers.

What you will do:
As a Senior Scientist you will be part of a team working with different steps in a mAb purification process purification, i.e. clarification, filtration and purification within new product development and market support related projects.
Be the one bringing the holistic perspective as well as deep understanding of chromatography and resin properties in discussions and project work. You will take active part in the laboratory work as part of your tasks.
Your work will focus on the polishing part of the purification process, and it includes working with different types of modalities. Polishing chromatography is the term we use to describe the removal of minute amounts of impurities in the final phase of biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
You will present scientific and technical results internally, through oral and written communication mostly in English.

Who you are:
PhD in Biochemistry or Molecular biology
Extensive experience working with chromatography in the biopharmaceutical field.
You have worked at a scientific level at a bioprocess company and have a good understanding of scaling processes.
You see mathematical connections and preferably are used to work with process development using DoE/MeMoCo.
Valid Swedish work permit.

Vad du ska göra
Som serviceingenjör på Cytiva kommer du att ingå i det nordiska fältserviceteamet med 25 serviceingenjörer i Sverige, Finland, Island, Danmark och Litauen. Tillsammans med dina kollegor kommer du att ansvara för att serva och kvalificera vår kunds utrustning bestående av biofarmautrustning såsom vätskekromatografisystem (ÄKTA avant, ÄKTA pure, ÄKTA ready etc), filtrering (FlowStar, AquaWit) och cellodlingsutrustning (ReadyToProcess WAVE, XDR etc). Du kommer att arbeta i laboratorier och läkemedelsproduktionsanläggningar hos kund men även arbeta i vår serviceverkstad.
Detta är en fältbaserad roll med omfattande resande inom Norden och Baltikum. Med huvudkontor baserat i Uppsala kommer du att besöka kunder inom Sverige men även i övriga Norden och Baltikum. Du kommer att ansvara för utförandet av kundbesök, inklusive kundkoordinering, reseplanering och beställning av reservdelar. I denna roll ingår Du i vårt beredskapsteam som jobbar att ta emot ärende dygnet runt.
Typiska arbetsuppgifter kommer vara:
Planera och utföra förebyggande underhåll, reparationer och installationer.
Planera och utföra kvalifikationer (IQ/OQ).

We are looking for an Additive Process Engineer to join our dynamic Additive Engineering team, which is part of the CTO organization, supporting all businesses and functions within Cytiva. Vi söker en Drifttekniker till sektionen Reningsverk & Miljö inom avdelningen Infrastructure Supply. Avdelningen består förutom av reningsverk och miljö av sektionerna Lösningsmedelsåtervinningen och Driftcentralen, och förser produktionen med all nödvändig media.
Sektionen Reningsverk och miljö ansvarar för drift och tillgänglighet för reningsanläggningar, utför mätningar av luft- och vattenemissioner och säkerställer efterlevnad av krav på utsläppen, samt kartlägger vattenströmmar för att minska miljöpåverkan.
Dina huvudsakliga arbetsuppgifter:

The Program Manager, VAVE at Cytiva will lead the global deployment of the Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) program to drive total cost improvements. What you will do:
Deploy the VAVE program globally across Cytiva to drive total cost improvement, engaging cross-functional teams including R&D, Product Management, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Finance.
Lead internal and supplier VAVE Kaizens to identify cost-saving opportunities, eliminate waste, and implement Should-Cost models through product teardowns and competitive benchmarking.
Collaborate with Product Planning to prioritize high-impact projects and allocate resources effectively, ensuring alignment with business unit strategies.
Act as the liaison between Value Engineering and business units, managing key planning tools like the Master Planning List (MPL), Rationalized Road Map (RRM), and Project Priority List (PPL).

Who you are:
Preferably 7+ years in an Engineering/Supply Chain environment.

The Custom Engineering department at Cytiva is responsible for delivering customized downstream hardware and software solutions used in Biopharma development and manufacturing. This is a remote role in Sweden, but we see great value in spending part of your time in Uppsala, the heart of our resins organization, where innovation and collaboration thrive.
What you’ll do
Drive Design-In and Spec-Win activities for our chromatography resins by identifying new opportunities and closing deals—leveraging deep technical and application knowledge of the resin portfolio to support both short- and long-term sales growth.


Plan and conduct customer meetings, and proactively identify and monitor their molecule pipelines to secure Design-In wins for our resins portfolio.


Achieve annual and quarterly revenue targets through precise monthly and quarterly forecasting. Collaborate with Account Managers to prioritize selling time, maximize sales volume, deepen account penetration, and ensure full territory coverage.


Strategically plan mid- to long-term activities aligned with customer projects. Proactively inform customers about our resin solutions to build a strong sales funnel, in close collaboration with Account Managers, Specialists, and Marketing. Share insights on market trends and competitor activity with Marketing and Product Management.


Partner with Account Managers and Regional Marketing to organize impactful seminars, user days, product trainings, and new product introductions. Support these events with resin-specific presentations and technical expertise, and ensure timely follow-up on marketing activities and portfolio-generated leads.

Who you are
A science or engineering graduate with strong technical expertise in chromatography resins and experience in the biopharma industry.

Dina arbetsuppgifter
Nu söker vi en mikrobiolog till rollen som laboratorieingenjör hos QC mikrobiologi, en av sex QC sektioner inom Cytiva, Uppsala. Sektionens medarbetare utför rutinmässigt mikrobiologiska analyser, så som bioburden och endotoxininnehåll i material från vår produktion. Vi bistår även sitens produktionsavsnitt med utförande av mikrobiologiska provtagningar till exempel miljökontroller i renrum, valideringar och utredningar.

Som laboratorieingenjör hos QC mikrobiologi utför du mikrobiologiska kvalitetskontroller i en ISO-klassad laboratorieverksamhet, med höga krav på dokumentation, spårbarhet och noggrannhet i ditt arbete. En del av dina arbetsuppgifter kommer även röra den dagliga driften av verksamheten i form av instrumentunderhåll, materialhantering, avvikelsehantering och felsökning.

Sektionen arbetar aktivt med utveckling av verksamheten och du som person bör trivas med en snabbt växlande miljö som ger möjlighet att planera ditt eget arbete, göra bedömningar och fatta egna beslut. För dig som brinner för förbättringsarbete finns även möjligheten att göra ett eget avtryck i verksamheten både genom att driva egna LEAN-, 5S och Standard work-projekt och genom att delta i sektionsöverbryggande förbättringar.

Arbetet är förlagt på site Uppsala och bedrivs både individuellt och ihop med andra i mindre grupper.


Vem är du
Lämplig bakgrund är biomedicinsk analytiker (BMA), BSc inom mikrobiologi, högskoleingenjör alternativt annan lämplig utbildning inom biologi.
Du har tidigare erfarenhet av mikrobiologiskt laboratoriearbete, gärna inom ISO- eller GMP-reglerad laboratorieverksamhet.
Du uttrycker dig tydligt i tal och skrift på både engelska och svenska och är bekväm med att arbetsspråket kan växla mellan språken.
Du är van vid att använda kvalitetssystem för att dokumentera arbetsgång och följa upp resultat och har tidigare erfarenhet inom LIMS och avvikelsesystem.

The role of the Design transfer specialist (DTS) is to act as a liaison between Engineering, Research and development (RnD), and the shop floor materials team on all part-related implementations and changes to current and future products. The DTS works to ensure a stable material flow of purchased parts used in Uppsala manufacturing. For ongoing production, the DTS works with inspection procedures and quality investigations.
This is an onsite position located in Uppsala, Sweden.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with suppliers to secure shipments and ensure part quality.
Work cross-functionally with R&D, production planning, material planning, sourcing, and supplier quality engineering.
Act as a project member for implementing engineering change orders (ECOs), including initiating workflows and managing Phase IN/OUT activities according to standard work.
Communicate engineering baselines and updated part information to suppliers to ensure timely and accurate part implementations.
Establish and maintain inspection instructions, including applicable measurement and test procedures, to ensure incoming parts meet quality standards.
Conduct root cause analysis on quality issues and drive continuous process improvements.
Interact with stakeholders to align on part updates and ensure smooth integration into production.

Who you are
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering and/or several years of experience in manufacturing industry working with similar or related engineering tasks.

Production and supplier quality experience with knowledge of manufacturing processes.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written in Swedish and English language.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Understanding of PDM and ERP system is desirable.
Experienced with external supplier relationships.

Travel Requirements:
Occasional travel to suppliers and other Cytiva sites may be part of this role.

The Senior Product Manager Chromatography is responsible for leading the development of a Chromatography product offering focused specifically on viral vectors by providing multi-functional leadership and strategic direction for the portfolio. This role is responsible for ownership of the products from product launch to organizational readiness and product/service delivery and will work collaboratively with the commercial teams, supply chain, quality and R&D to drive the short and long-term goal of the business. Additionally, this position will focus on evaluating our existing portfolio and developing organic and inorganic strategies to expand and drive incremental growth.
This position reports to the Sr. Director Viral Vector Product Management and is part of the Viral Vector Business Unit. The role will be an on-site role in Uppsala, Sweden or Marlborough, US.
What you will do:
Demonstrate cross functional leadership to execute the vision and strategy of the chromatography product portfolio.
Define market requirements and synthesize customer input by conducting VOC and market research to understand key market trends, use cases, customer requirements, user and buyer persona and competitive activities across geographies and market segments.
Work closely with R&D to define product requirements for new product development and improvement on existing products. Work closely with Marketing and Commercial to define go-to-market strategy for global product launch activities including positioning, value proposition, sales training, collateral and demand generation strategies.
Identify market trends and opportunities in the viral vector chromatography landscape. Support external evaluation, open innovation and potential internal and external collaborations to enable a complete product offering.
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with commercial team members, to ensure product offerings and positioning are meeting critical customer needs.
Be the business expert on Viral Vector Chromatography. Function as the point of contact for questions and problem solving for internal business partners and external customers.

Who you are:
Domain expert with a Master’s or PhD (preferable) and MBA (preferable) with 5+ years of relevant experience in Viral Vector downstream processing.
Experience in Product Management, including: market trends/analysis, NPI process, product roadmap development, product life-cycle management.
Team oriented – ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross-functional teams and proven ability to work globally.
Demonstrated analytical skills, business acumen, learning agility, network leadership and stretched experience as well as passion for continuous improvement

Dina arbetsuppgifter
Vi söker en utvecklingsingenjör till avdelningen Quality Control (QC). Som utvecklingsingenjör på QC kommer du att ingå i en sektion om 12 medarbetare varav två utvecklingsingenjörer. På QC avdelningen arbetar vi med att analysera och kvalitetskontrollera produkter från vår produktion i Uppsala.

I rollen som utvecklingsingenjör arbetar du främst med att:
Utveckla och föra över analysmetoder mellan olika avdelningar
Utreda och åtgärda kvalitetsproblem på analysmetoder och instrument
Leda utredningar för avvikande analysresultat
Utbilda personal med avseende på tekniker, instrument och analysmetoder
Representera QC och samarbeta med andra avdelningar i produktionskedjan såsom produktionen, R&D och QA
Delta i utredningar vid eventuella tillverkningsproblem
Delta som QC representant i nyproduktprojekt och produktvårdsprojekt
Vid arbetstoppar utföra frisläppande analyser, kontrollräkna och utföra analysacceptans




Vem är du
MSc eller BSc inom kemi eller liknande, med ett flertal års arbetslivserfarenhet inom Life Science/läkemedelsinsdustrin
Teoretisk och praktisk erfarenhet inom kromatografi, gärna med ÄKTA och Agilent system samt av kolonnpackning. Ytterligare analysteknikerfarenhet är meriterande
God kommunikationsförmåga i svenska och engelska både i tal och skrift
God problemlösningsförmåga
Erfarenhet av att använda Microsoft Office programvaror
Kan driva & engagera ett team för att nå uppsatta mål

Övriga önskvärda kvalifikationer är:
Erfarenhet och kunskap om proteinkemi
Tidigare erfarenhet av att arbeta i en position med krav på ledarskapsförmåga
Kunskap och erfarenhet av kvalitetskontroll GMP, GDP, ISO etc.
Erfarenhet av Oracle, Magic
Erfarenhet från förändring- och förbättringsarbete

I rollen som utvecklingsingenjör ska du vara flexibel och bra på att samarbeta med andra. Du bör också gilla att arbeta i förändring, driva förbättringsarbete samt kunna utföra flera arbetsuppgifter parallellt.
